Ey up! I’m Shelby, the designer, maker, and proud owner of Kohsi. By my side is Kallie, my beautiful rescue dog and trusty sidekick. She’s not just my four-legged companion—she’s also the real boss around here (let’s be honest, the girl runs the show).

Kohsi is pronounced ‘cosy,’ inspired by the concept of Hygge, which is all about creating a warm, welcoming, and comfortable home environment. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good, cosy snuggle with their furry friend? It’s a way of life here at Kohsi!

How did Kohsi begin?
It started with a redundancy, a white board, a heap of sticky notes and a huge animal obsession! 

The idea for Kohsi first came to me 6 years ago when I was made redundant. To keep myself busy and stay positive while job hunting, I decided to focus on something I truly loved. Luckily, I found a new job just a couple of weeks later, but that meant Kohsi stayed just an idea for another year.

5 years ago, I finally began turning the idea, into a reality. I just had this unexplained "feeling" about Kohsi, and I had to explore why. I dug out my old sticky notes, made some prototypes, and finally Kohsi was born.
